Chad Schulman - ClearCom, Inc. Account Manager
A student of the MBA program at the University of Wisconsin Parkside, Chad Schulman currently serves as an account manager at ClearCom, Inc. in Caledonia, Wisconsin. In this role, Chad Schulman is responsible for emergency action planning and overseeing accounts that ensure the integrity of CCTV, mass notification systems, and door access.
Before joining ClearCom, Inc., Mr. Schulman served as a senior supervisor with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, receiving the Life Saving Award during his tenure. In his work with ClearCom, he stays up to date with trends in physical security risk management and emergency management, as well as the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
Chad Schulman is a strong supporter of AEDs in public places due to his own experience with the life-saving properties of these devices. During a visit to the gym with his wife, he experienced a phenomenon known as ventricular fibrillation, where the heart beats with rapid, erratic pulses, making it unable to pump blood. An AED placed at his gym ended up saving his life. While Mr. Schulman has a permanent defibrillator implanted, he continues to advocate for the placement of AEDs in public places for situations just like the one that affected him.
